I thought I would share with everyone why I took this course. I hope you will forgive the Mr. Ed humor (for those of you who are old enough to remember who he is).

I took this course as the final of three education classes offered at SCC. As of last semester, I had completed Intro Into Education with Dr. Watson and Teaching With Diversity with Professor Hawkins, so it seemed only natural to take this class. I also serve on the Technology Team for my children's charter school.

As far as the online component of this class goes, I am enjoying it. Unlike some on campus classes, the online classes seem to encourage more interaction between students in part because there is no lecture. I also think the online students tend to help each other more. As a busy mom/parent of three, I also like the online classes because I don't have to worry about care for my kids or what happens if they are home sick from school or have a day off that I don't.
